Our day at the pool

We're still working on getting Makenna warmed up to the water. She talks about the "big pool" and "going swimming" and "wearing swimming suits" all the time, but when it comes time to do it, she freaks. Derek and I are convinced that it is her defense mechanism - if she talks about it, maybe she won't have to actually do it! After screaming bloody murder while getting her suit (or "suits" as she calls it) on, she was ready (or not!) to go. She did much better this time (aside from the swimming suit(s) fiasco) and actually seemed to warm up to it toward the end. The pool was very cold, so maybe if it was warmer water, she might do better.
