Happy Birthday, America!

We headed out to Clarkston on Friday to spend the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Hranach. Friday afternoon, we headed to the park to play, and then came back for a yummy dinner.

On the way to Clarkston

Patriotic family pictures

Owen and Ellie

Owen's first slide

Daddy and Makenna on the big slide

This girl loves to swing

The higher the better!

Derek playing on the swings

And Grandpa too

I think Ellie's looking for her brain

On Sunday, we headed out to Algonac for Brandy's (my SIL) parent's 4th of July party. Makenna had a BLAST! Their neighbor runs a home daycare, so they borrowed her bounce house, swing set and other toys for the kids to play with. We had to force her to take a break to eat dinner, and we practically had to drag her out of there when it was time to go home. I think Owen had fun too, but he got tired toward the end. It was a long day for him.

The two Owen's swinging (the other Owen is 6 months old)

Makenna was kamakaze on the bounce house slide. She would jump up before sliding, so she would land on her bottom half way down the slide

Showing off her tattoo

Owen got a tat as well

When he got bored, he decided to eat the stroller handle

And a cheesy smile with mom
