In lieu of the adults (Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Brad, Aunt Brandy, Mom and Dad) exchanging Christmas gifts, we decided to get a suite at
Zehnder's Splash Village for a night and split it three ways. We got there at 11 on Saturday and played until after lunch today. A great time was had by all, and
Makenna far exceeded our expectations in the water! She has never been a huge lover of water (Derek is convinced she is part cat because she dislikes it so much!), but she really enjoyed it when she could have fun on her terms. We even convinced her to do some water slides and to swim in the pool. I'm pretty certain she had a blast! Owen probably would have had more fun, had he been feeling better. Our poor
bubba has a cold, is running a fever of 101-103 and is teething his molars. He was pretty miserable feeling, but he had fun as best as he could.

That was fun! It looks like you all had a great time. And it was fun to see pictures of the rest of your family too.
What a nice outing for all of you.
Too bad Owen wasn't feeling better, but he still takes "sweet" pictures. Can't believe how Makenna looked in the water. Good job!
