The Circus

Thursday afternoon, my dad and I took the kids to a circus at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. It was small, but the perfect size for their first trip to the circus! The performers did a great job, and all 4 of us had a great time.

Makenna LOVES her some cotton candy!

Owen's first taste

The first loud noise he heard. He made this face and came running for Mommy!

Lions and white tigers

Every time we clapped, Owen would put down the ball he was holding to clap too.

Roar!

This was so cute. This clown brought out a stuffed elephant and pretended to use a key to make it go. He would turn the key a few times, and the elephant would walk. Then the elephant would stop and fall over on it's side. At the end of the skit, he took the elephant costume off to reveal that it was a schnauzer inside!

The schnauzer

Camals
Juggling fire

Acrobats

And this was the neatest part of the circus. They had this "Globe of Death" and motorcyclists rode around inside. At one point, they had 3 of them going at once.
