6:15 AM, leaving for the hospital. Do I look tired, or what?
Patiently waiting in pre-op
They gave him the mask to play with so that he had a chance to get used to it before they brought him back. He loved putting it on his face. It smelled like bubblegum!
Showing his sticker off to the anesthesiologist
They brought him back at 7:30, and called me back to post-op at 7:45. We were on our way home by 8! No IV's, no hospital gown. He was pretty upset when he woke up from the anesthesia, thrashing about and crying for about 10 minutes. But as soon as he calmed down, we were allowed to leave. He was playing like his regular self by the time we got him home and fed him breakfast. Here's to hoping for no ear infections and antibiotics for awhile!
Thank you Aunt Brandy for coming out to be with us!
