The Chelsea Fair

My parents came out yesterday to take us to the Chelsea Fair. We had a blast!!

The kids with Grandpa and Grandma

Makenna and her Grandpa

Sitting on a chainsaw-carved bench

Admiring another chainsaw-carved creation

Our first stop was to look at the animals. The fair had a new exhibit this year that included newborn baby animals. Very cool.

Rabbits

Horses

A mommy cow with her baby calf

A nursing baby sheep

A baby goat

Baby chicks

Makenna petting a baby chick

And holding him/her

Makenna and Grandma play "pig" and "cow"

Mommy and Makenna play "horse" and "sheep"

This was Owen's reaction

Next stop was the rides. Makenna rode the train (twice), the swings (twice) the carousal, the Ferris wheel, and the teddy bear spinner ride. She had a blast!

All aboard!

Back for another go on the train, only this time, she got to be engineer!

As we were heading out, we stopped to watch Colors the clown perform for a bit

A quick pose on the display tractors.

And finally, no trip to the fair would be complete without a taste of cotton candy!

It was love at first bite.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the great day of fun!
