Derek and I got a day off yesterday. Grandma Mary came over to play with the kids, and give us a (much needed!) break. We went to lunch and saw The Bourne Ultimatum (GREAT movie!). We did some shopping, went out to a nice dinner, and did some more shopping. We noticed that we spend way more money when we are without kids!!! Derek was a sport - he put up with a lot of shopping. When trying to decide what to do with our time, I explained to him that shopping was one of my favorite activities to do sans kids. It was so nice to be able to shop leisurely without whining. Well, Derek tried not to whine too much. : )
It was a great day. Thank you Grandma, for such a treat!!!
