Makenna woke up from her nap on Thursday with a fever of 102. She said her ear hurt when I was taking her temperature with the ear thermometer, so I called the pediatrician, and they worked us into their schedule. Aside from her throat looking slightly red, she checked out fine. No ear infection. The doctor told us to watch it for a few days and to check back if she got worse.
She's been running temperatures all weekend. As soon as the Motrin or Tylenol wears off, it comes back. After her nap yesterday, it was up over 103. Aside from the fever, she seems OK. She doesn't have her normal appetite, and she is playing a little quieter, but other than that, no other real symptoms.
If she's still running the fever tomorrow, we'll have to go get checked again...probably only to pay another $15 co-pay to tell us she's fine other than the fever. :P
